Our host family provides three meals a day, six days a week. We eat on our own on Sundays. Never in my life have I been so excited to find and eat at a McDonald's! It was finally a familiar place and familiar food. I was glad to find that it even tasted the same! It may become a Sunday ritual while we are in Antigua.

A Familiar Face in Guatemala
Our host family provides three meals a day, six days a week. We eat on our own on Sundays. Never in my life have I been so excited to find and eat at a McDonald's! It was finally a familiar place and familiar food. I was glad to find that it even tasted the same! It may become a Sunday ritual while we are in Antigua.

which one is daniel?
I showed this picture to the kids and Kaitlyn said, "Hey, that doesn't look like the real Ronald McDonald!" Uncle Daniel can't fool her. I explained to her that it was a statue and she said, "I thought so!"
My sister told me that when my two year-old nephew, Kyle, saw this picture he asked her if that was Aunt Kara in the picture with Uncle Daniel. I know I'm pale Kyle but I'm not THAT pale, give me some credit! :)
