For the most part, the food in Guatemala is pretty good. However... this meal, pictured above, deserves a blog post. It is a tortilla, spread with guacamole, and then topped with a hotdog, lettuce, mayonnaise and ketchup. That is a list of things that I think just shouldn't go together! To make matters worse, I was served two of them. I thought maybe they would taste better than they looked... I was wrong.

An Interesting Lunch
For the most part, the food in Guatemala is pretty good. However... this meal, pictured above, deserves a blog post. It looks terrible. You're right: it does deserve a blog post.
Looks great to me. Of course, being from California I love guacamole. In Venezuela they have sort of the same thing, but with the lettuce, ketchup, mayonnaise all mixed together on top of the hot dog. Also, instead of the tortilla they use a hot dog bun.

Almost forgot. Venezuelan hot dogs also have corn and crushed potatoe chips sprinkled on top. It really is good.
